Abu Raihan Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Biruni was a Persian astronomer, physicist, scholar, encyclopedia writer, philosopher, explorer, historian, geographer, pharmacist, and brilliant teacher who contributed greatly to mathematics, philosophy, and medicine.
