Zakat

Zakat is the obligation of a Muslim to distribute a portion of their wealth to those deserving of it, as a form of worship and social responsibility.
Zakat comes from Arabic and means purity, blessing, growth, and development. In the Islamic context, zakat is one of the fourth pillars of Islam, obligatory for every Muslim who meets certain requirements. Zakat aims to purify wealth and the soul, as well as to help those in need.
